Great documentary. Does a great job of exposing how greedy corporations and special interest groups have been bribing elected officials for years to continuously deny a clear scientific consensus, stalling any progress on the issue and placing our future in jeopardy in exchange for their personal gain. Even though this movie focuses solely on the issue of climate change, I believe it really shows just how much power outside groups have in our political system. I believe this film uncovers the cause of all of the bickering and stalling of progress in Washington that has been happening lately, regardless of the issue at hand. Everyone needs to see 'Greedy Lying Bastards'. After watching it, I felt absolutely outraged and I believe if others feel the same way I do, this film could be the beginning of a huge movement.

In the fashion of Michael Moore, but without the base appealing Michael Moore. This is a very well done film. It's good at getting you mad as hell, but then what are you going to do about it? Overgrow the system! Put solar on your home (it's not nearly as expensive as you think) it's not more expensive than the power your using now. Grow your own food, shop local, ride your bike, and walk more. GET ENGAGED. TURN OFF TV, AND TURN ON YOURSELF. DEMOCRACY IS LIKE A LITTLE FLOWER THAT NEEDS TO BE WATERED EVERY DAY. Take part. Remember if you complain about society, what are you doing to change it? You are a part of society too, and this is a collaborative effort, not US Vs THEM.
