VeggieTales: JOSH AND THE BIG WALL

Very cleverly written and funny.
I think that "Josh and the Big Wall" is the funniest retelling of the Isrealites and their defeat of Jericho. While entertaining kids, it inconspicuously teaches them about obeying God and their parents. "Veggie Tales" are the funnest way to learn about God and virtues. A wonderful video, cleverly written, and funny. And the Silly Songs with Larry segment is very entertaining, too! The song about a boy and his three "cebus" (say-boo)is imossible to not like. The tune, the words, and the story is irresistable! A #1 in kid's videos. Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber present the idea of obedience in a positive way. They always talk about improving and obeying so kids won't feel bad about not having obeyed in the past. A GREAT VIDEO.

Very, very funny telling of the Jericho story.
It's not what you expect and that is what makes this video so effective. The VeggieTales team has another hit on their hands with this clever re-telling of the story of Joshua and the wall of Jericho.

Any "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" fan will particularly enjoy the casting of the French peas atop the wall of Jericho.

This is a superb Christian video for both children and adult children alike. Larry's silly "Cebu" song will stick in your head like glue.

An excellent teaching on Obedience....also lots of fun.
I have a 23-month old son who simply enjoys the VeggieTales videos and we have collected all except one so far. Josh and the Big Wall is one of my personal favorites. It clearly shows how our disobedience can lead to disappointments, but if we follow God's ordained plans for our lives, the rewards are total and complete. It is great learning experience for "children" of all ages; Jean-Claude & Phillipe (the French Peas) are just delightful and Larry's Silly Song - Song of the Cebu - will have you singing even at the office. Marvelous job BIG IDEA productions.
